A rapidly-growing compliance testing laboratory in Jonestown, PA is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join our lab team. Multiple positions open. Wednesday-Sunday and Tuesday-Saturday shifts.

Position: The lab analyst will primarily be responsible for preparing, running, troubleshooting, and analyzing cannabis samples, utilizing standardized and in-house lab methodologies.

Duties include:

1) Sample preparation for Potency, Pesticides, Terpenes, Heavy Metals, Residual Solvents, etc

2) Weighing and recording sample weights.

3) Maintain ISO 17025 standards of performance.

4) Works independently with little guidance as well as provide support and training for others in a team environment.

5) Ensure test equipment is clean, maintained and in good working order.

6) Maintain a safe, clean and sanitary work area.

7) Ensure high quality standards are met through performing calibrations, quality checks, and proficiency programs

8) Maintain an accurate notebook and logbook.

9) Strictly follow all safety procedures and documents

Qualifications:

· · 2 years lab experience (Cannabis knowledge/ lab experienced preferred).

· · B.S./B.A. in chemistry, biology, or related field.

· · HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, GCFID, ICPMS experience.

· · Experience with data analysis and LIMS.

· · Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

· · Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

· · Specific training for ISO 17025 Standard.

· · Hands-on experience with instrument maintenance and trouble-shooting.

· · Experience importing, validating, and exporting electronic data in a variety of formats.

· · Proven organizational and problem-solving skills.

· · Ability to stand for long periods.
