Company Description. Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay Community is a state-of-the-art senior living company in Venice, FL focused on pioneering upscale Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our beautiful community consists of 130 units in a magnificent 130,000 square foot facility.

We are seeking. We are seeking Full time, Part time and PRN Caregivers/CNA/HHA.

Responsibilities:

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual care plan.
• Serves meals to residents in the dining room or suites. May assist in preparing meals following preplanned menus.
• Initiates and participates in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar.
• Check and record weights, and other duties as assigned according to community policy and regulations.
• Support fall prevention programs for all residents in need. This includes proactive intervention use, monitoring, and daily tidies to clear rooms of clutter, etc.
• Answer call lights promptly. Communicate proactively with team to ensure call lights are responded to timely with use of walkie-talkie provided.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents. Performs general housekeeping, following cleaning schedules for laundry, bedrooms, dining area, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.
• Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions and follow up as directed.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• At least1-2 years related experience, preferably in the senior living industry preferred.
• Has basic knowledge and understanding of dementia, mental illness and general medical problems encountered by the elderly.
