What You’ll Do

• You’ll operate an over-the-road tractor trailer or 26’ box truck with a set of doubles to deliver beautiful Monrovia plants to our valued customers.
• You’ll unload plants and/or assist the garden center employees with the unloading process.
• You’ll assist in our rack retrieval program.
• You’ll obtain shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and return completed documents as appropriate to the shipping office.
• You’ll make sure that you operate in a safe manner performing pre trip and post trip inspections and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• You’ll maintain an electronic driver's log with accuracy and in compliance with DOT regulations.

Who You Are

• You have a valid state Class A CDL with doubles endorsement.
• You have good basic math and geography skills.
• You can follow verbal and written instructions accurately and are able to respond in writing as necessary.
• As a face to Monrovia, you are proficient at dealing with customer personnel with tact and diplomacy.
• You are open to feedback.
• You are open to working extended hours.
• You meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and can successfully pass a substance abuse screening.
• You enjoy working in a team environment and being supportive of co-workers.
• You are able to walk, lift up to 50 pounds or 65 pounds on occasion, bend, squat, reach, pull and push, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
