In this role, you will work under the direction of the Outpatient Infusion RNs to provide care to the patients within the Infusion Suite. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking vital signs, EKGS, administering IM/SQ injections, venipuncture, and assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i,e, bathing, mouth care, skin care. Will be cross-trained to assist with front-end duties including scheduling and checking in/out patients.
Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent required.
- Must be a certified Medical Assistant through an accredited program.
- BLS/CPR required through the AHA.
- Must have 1 year of experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced department is strongly encouraged.
