Job Title: Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operations Officer (CFO/COO)

Healing Humanity Productions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operations Officer (CFO/COO) to join our production company's senior management team. As the CFO/COO, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership and guidance in financial planning and operations management. The CFO/COO will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company, as well as ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, operational expertise, and a proven track record of successful financial management. You will work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to drive the financial and operational success of Healing Humanity Productions.

This is a full-time position working in-office in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of financial strategies, budgets, and business plans to ensure the company's financial goals are met
  • Oversee and manage financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and tax compliance
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial and operational integrity and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and other partners
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Develop and implement efficient operational protocols and administrative structures to ensure smooth company operations
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management guidance which mirror the adopted corporate mission and core values across the organization to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the CEO informed of all critical issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar role in the TV/Film or media industry
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Demonstrate experience in operations management and business process optimization
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
