Description:

Company Overview

The Company owns significant development rights beyond its current club footprint and is strategically poised to accelerate growth across the Northeast corridor through new location openings in addition to strategic M&A.

Historically, the Company has outsourced its finance and accounting function except for an internal FP&A manager. The Company is now at an inflection point where its size and current growth trajectory necessitate bringing the finance and accounting function predominantly in-house.

Position Overview

Given the new direction for the finance and accounting function, the CFO will play a lead role in architecting and implementing the structural foundation of the finance team. As part of this effort, he/she will work closely with Company leadership, its Board of Directors, and external partners to migrate specific functions in-house, while continuing to maintain partnerships with external resources where it makes sense to do so.

The Company’s culture is performance based and built on a foundation of trust and collaboration. The executive team embraces authenticity, candor, integrity, and inclusion. While directly responsible for their specific verticals, each member of the team is valued for their contributions across the company’s operations. As such, decision making is collaborative, decisive and data driven. The ideal candidate will be highly effective at extrapolating historical data and analysis to inform strategic forward decision making.

As with all members of the Company’s management team, this role is remote. However, the ideal candidate should reside within the existing club footprint, as the role will involve travel to the Company’s clubs to both develop rapport with club-level management as well as understand location-specific operating dynamics. On a monthly basis, meetings with other senior executives will take place in either MA or NJ.
