Child Care Teacher Job at Heartworks, STEAMworks & Loveworks
Heartworks is currently seeking a Teacher, Toddler to join our team in Williston. Heartworks, STEAMworks & Loveworks, is a network of 6 preschools and early learning centers across Vermont. We prioritize employee experience and the total wellbeing of our teachers and leaders.

A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:
Eight-hour shift (the school is open 7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
Following and maintaining all state mandated COVID precautions and policies for early learning centers.
Designated one-hour break per shift.
Following a set schedule that helps children establish healthy eating, sleeping, and bathroom routines.
Working in close contact with your co-teacher and school colleagues.
Implementing and evolving the Heartworks philosophy of teaching.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrate kindness and respect for self, others, and our community at-large.
Skilled in play-based learning approaches and social-emotional education.
Deliver required paperwork and completed lesson plans on time.
REQUIREMENTS:
Adhere to all VT Public Health and Child Care Regulations.
Meet at least one of the following requirements:
Meet at least a Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Four (4) A or B Certificate;
Hold at least a bachelor degree from an accredited college with a major or concentration in Early Childhood, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education, or Special Education with a birth to eight (8) years of age focus, or Child and Family Services and at least twelve (12) months experience working with groups of children from grade three (3) or younger;
Hold at least a bachelor degree from an accredited college with at least successful completion of thirty (30) college credits with an early childhood or school age focus and at least twelve (12) months experience working with groups of children from grade three (3) or younger;
Hold at least a current Vermont Agency of Education teaching license with an endorsement in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education
Authorize state-required background check.
Act as mandated reporter, both on and off campus.
Help ensure classroom environments adhere to NAEYC’s Anti-Bias Early Education.
Ability to stand, move, run, and play for the majority of the day.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds multiple times a day.
