Class A Driver – drive local only (OC & LA)

An international food company is seeking a Local Class A Driver with at least 2 year of driving experience as Class A Driver.

This food manufacture has been around for more than 80 years, and their products are sold at most major grocery stores. They are growing!

Salary: $62.4K/yr

Shifts Available: start from 5:00am to 2:00pm or 4:00pm (8-10hour shift) Monday to Friday & one weekend of the month

Summary:

Deliver products to local produce distributor and markets on time. Also, pick up products like material for department of purchasing.

· Deliver products in good condition

· Support customer service for shipping and receiving

· Shrink wrap pallets

· Make customer orders

· Pick up products such as boxes, Film, etc.

· Loading and unloading

· Double check orders before loading and before delivery.

· Get signature on proper document and return it to the office for proof of delivery or pick up.

· Daily truck inspection.

· Schedule preventive maintenance for truck at Penske.

· Work one weekend a month for restaurant delivery.

· Covers restaurant driver when they are off

Requirement:

· Must have Valid A Class drivers license

· Certified of Forklift, electric pallet jack

· Read and write both in Spanish and English

· Good communication skill in both Spanish and English

· Must have 2 years of verifiable truck driving

· General Knowledge of Microsoft office

· Ability to create local routes for drivers

Physical requirements:

· Ability to lift and carry 40lb

· Driving forklift and Electric pallet jack – 15%

· Ability to work inside of cooler for 2 to 3 hours a day

· Driving -65%

· Carrying – 5%

· Walking and standing – 15%

Pay: $62,400.00 - $67,600.00 per year
