Contract Relationship: The relationship between you and Tafferty LLC is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of any statements of work signed by both the “Agent” (You) and “Representative of Tafferty LLC)“ (Company.) Tafferty LLC will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while under contract. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against Tafferty LLC hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Maintain a quiet, confidential workspace.
  • Meet a required >90% commitment adherence rate.
  • Selecting when and how often you want to work.
  • Respond to incoming inbound phone calls, video calls, and/or live chats from customers with a can-do attitude.
  • Provide outbound calls when necessary.
  • Provide support to the member servicing various product questions and/or issue resolution.
  • Quickly and efficiently assist customers by utilizing a knowledge base and/or other tools.
  • Document details of customer interactions in the appropriate client systems.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism working to establish rapport with every customer.
  • Navigate multiple systems, programs, and screens at the same time while speaking with customers.
  • Work with the leadership team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
  • 100% participation in client certification course(s). Certification periods are non-compensated. You are compensated when you are logged into systems and in available status to perform outlined duties as set by each client.

Personal Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States. (We currently cannot accept applicants or do business with partners that reside within California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, or Wisconsin.)
  • High School or GED Diploma (Preferred)
  • Customer service experience – 1+ year (Preferred)
  • Must possess a quiet, confidential workspace with a computer, headset, and reliable internet connection.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism with excellent typing, communication, and computer skills
  • Must be proficient in English (Spanish and French bilingual opportunities may be available)
  • Must be willing to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and qualifying client assessments. (There is a $30.00 background check fee which must be paid every 36 months to the background check vendor.)
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced changing environment.

Minimum General Technical Qualifications

  • Must possess a smartphone with regular system updates.
  • CPU Speed – i5 or AMD APU equivalent with dual-core 2.8 GHz or better.*
  • Hard Drive - 20 GB or more of available space with 60 GB or more of total space.
  • Operating System (Non-Beta) - Windows 8.8 (64bit)** or Windows 10 (64bit).***/****
  • Fiber Optic, Hardwired Internet Download Speed: 10 MBPS minimum.
  • Fiber Optic, Hardwired Internet Upload Speed: 3 MBPS minimum.
  • Network Latency: <120 MS required.
  • Screen Resolution - 1280 x 1024 (SXGA).
  • RAM - 4 GB.
  • USB 3.0 Ports.
  • Webcam.
  • Hardwired USB headset with microphone.
  • Dual Monitors (Required by some clients.)
  • VIOP capability (Required by some clients.)

* Atom, Celeron, Pentium, Opteron processors are not supported.

** Not all clients support Windows 8.8.

***Windows 11 is not supported at this time.

****MAC Systems without Windows secondary install is supported.
