Full-Time Position with Benefits
Monday – Friday day shift hours.
Closed on major holidays and weekends
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Valid State of Illinois LPN License, OR
- Valid State of Illinois RN License
- 2 or more years of clinic and/or primary care experience preferred
- Current BLS Certification
- Electronic Medical Record experience necessary
Skills Necessary:
- Provide medical services within the scope of license under the direct supervision of a medical provider.
- Ability to room patients, obtain vital and historical patient information and chart information accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.
- Ability to collaborate well with the medical providers and other staff members to appropriately care for patient needs.
- Ability to work independently and still communicate well with staff and patients.
- Ability to perform POC testing and injections as necessary.
- Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Recognize and treat illnesses and injuries according to established operating instructions within the scope of licensure and regulations of state employment or practice.
- Identify and record accurately the signs and symptoms of physical and mental conditions
- Critical thinking skills
- Good work ethic with an energetic and friendly personality
- Ability to interact with patients and staff in a confident and knowledgeable way.
- Thoroughly exercise skill in initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making daily.
- Perform duties in a safe manner and follow the established safety policies.
- Respond to a variety of inquiries of varying complexity by using knowledge and an understanding of established policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding information, including maintaining confidentiality of all company proprietary information.
- Maintain professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, candor, privacy and confidentiality of all company proprietary information, meetings, communication, and documents, including implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization.
- Protects patients' privacy through confidentiality, infection control procedures, assuring consistent medication administration, and assuring proper storage and maintenance procedures for all equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contract requirements.
