Clinical Supervisor

CenClear is hiring! We are looking for a full-time Clinical Supervisor for our Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder programs located at our outpatient facility located in Roaring Spring, PA.

Location: 819 E Main St, Roaring Spring, PA 16673

Hours: 40 hours per week; 52 weeks per year

General Description of Duties:

The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical training, supervision, and technical assistance to therapists that will enable them to deliver high quality therapeutic services to consumers. A therapist provides high quality therapeutic services to consumers/families in collaboration with other members of the treatment team while adhering to state and funding source regulations/guidelines. The Clinical Supervisor will oversee multiple therapists at potentially multiple locations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services),
  • or other related field which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency; Two years’ supervisory experience in a mental health/drug and alcohol setting.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the Child and Adolescent Social Service Program (CASSP) system and principles.
  • Preferred: 4 years’ experience in providing clinical/behavior interventions.

Specific Description of Duties:

  • Assures that therapists receive necessary, appropriate training based on trends, state, and agency guidelines.
  • Provides recommendations for appropriate out-of-house trainings for therapists.
  • Ensures staffs attend trainings and meet minimum yearly training requirements.
  • Trains staff in a manner that encourages and maintains diversity, cultural competency and trauma informed care.
  • Provides orientation training and initial supervision to new therapists.
  • Conducts performance reviews for assigned staff members.
  • Provides weekly individual/group supervision with assigned staff that includes observations of sessions in clinic, by videotape, or by paper review.
  • Provides feedback to therapists regarding paperwork completion.
  • Reviews, approves, and signs, as appropriate, Psychosocial Assessments, Add/Drops, Discharge and Treatment Plans.
  • Acts as initial contact for all supervisory issues for therapists and refers to other administrative staff as needed.
  • Completes Supervision documentation with therapists within the required time lines in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Provides overall oversight of required documentation to ensure that therapists are meeting regulatory content and timelines.
  • Provides clinical support as needed for collaboration, emergency office coverage and/or other clinical functions.
  • Meets the billable requirement of 5 hours per week.
  • Acts as communication liaison between therapists and leadership team.
  • Relays problems and needs to appropriate leadership staff members as necessary.
  • Promote CenClear’s philosophy, procedures, policies and regulations clearly and concisely in a positive manner.
  • Assures that the necessary resources are available to provide quality services to consumers.
  • Assures that therapists have information, training and resources to serve new consumers.
