REQUIREMENTS:
1. Licensed Practitioner in the State of Florida. Must be current and in good standing. Licensed psychologist, preferred.
2. Two years of experience working with the mentally ill patients, children, preferred.
3. Knowledge on assessing behavioral issues affecting family members.
4. Computer literate.
5. Excellent communications skills oral and written. Knowledge of Spanish, helpful.
6. One year of supervisory experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate all group therapy, individual, and family provided to children and adolescent and monitor their appropriate delivery by Psychology Interns and/or Psychology Resident.
2. Provide ongoing training to staff assigned to Crisis Units.
3. Perform Performance Improvement Monitoring activities on a quarterly basis.
4. Assist in managing aggressive clients and takes appropriate action in emergency situations, using T.E.A.M. approach.
5. Participate in client’s treatment team meetings.
6. Ensure that treatment team recommendations are being following by assigned staff.
7. Supervise and monitor the appropriate completion of all documentation by clinicians, care coordinators, discharge planners, mental health technicians and psychology interns.
8. Supervise Treatment Plan recommendations.
9. Supervise the assignment, development and implementation of Discharge summaries in an efficacious and timely manner.
10. Must comply with requirements for EHR documentation based on policies and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
