Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures, utilizing best practices and industry standards.
  • Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's business requirements and align with its overall technical vision.
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure proper integration of applications and services into the cloud environment.
  • Managing cloud resources, including compute, storage, and networking, to optimize performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implementing and maintaining cloud security measures, including identity and access management, data encryption, and compliance controls.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate cloud technologies, tools, and services to meet specific project requirements.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to other team members, including system administrators, developers, and operations staff.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure performance issues, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and other challenges.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, and recommending innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or a similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure automation and provisioning tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating cloud infrastructure tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, are highly desirable.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $92,014.54 - $186,663.48 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:
