CNC Set-Up Operator Job at Exact Panel Works

Hours: 6:00a – 2:30pm Mon-Fri (30 min unpaid lunch)

Job Description:
Primary Duties:
Tool maintenance on CNC routers:
- Replace worn drill bits and router bits Set the tool length for new bits
- Check production output to determine when tooling needs to be changed
- Maintain inventory of tooling and order replacements and send out for sharpening
Periodic maintenance on CNC routers:
- Greasing according to schedule
- Cleaning guideways and other delicate parts of the machine
CNC operation:
- Daily start-up tasks. Ex. Powering on equipment and warming up CNC router.
- Load programs into the machine – Do Not need to write programs
Other Duties:
Assist with production
- Load and unload material on production line using powered equipment
- Assembly / hand work
- Load and Unload trucks with a forklift - On the Job training available.
- Record product receipts and shipments in computer
- Housekeeping duties including all forms of warehouse cleanup.
- Regularly lift and move 20 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and move 60 lbs.
Housekeeping: Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC equipment in wood or metal working industries. Experience with CNC routers or Biesse equipment is a plus.
- Well experienced in using calipers and other precision measuring tools.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
