POSITION: Co-Curricular Talent Coordinator

LOCATION: Great Hearts Texas, Lead Office San Antonio, TX

REPORTS TO: Director of Co-Curricular Programs

Position Summary

Great Hearts is seeking a Co-Curricular Talent Coordinator to support its dynamic and expanding organization. The right candidate will have a passionate commitment to co-curricular talent as a foundational pillar of the Great Hearts project, a deep heart of service for Great Hearts school leaders, and a capacity for excellence as a functional team player.

The Co-Curricular Talent Coordinator’s charge is twofold:

• Sourcing a strong pool of candidates for Great Hearts Texas Co-Curriculars through targeted branding and relationship building with local institutions of higher ed, and other academic/cultural pipelines
• Facilitating the recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding process of Co-Curricular candidates

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with university and college contacts to generate qualified applicants.
• Schedule and attend local job fairs
• Describe and represent Great Hearts organization and culture to multiple external audiences
• Identify, build, and maintain pipelines of diverse candidates for a growing organization.
• Screen resumes/applications, conduct phone screens, and rate/recommend candidates to Co-Curriculars.
• Partner with Co-Curricular Campus Coordinator to interview candidates.
• Upon acceptance of an offer of Co-curricular candidates, facilitate the hiring and onboarding process. Correspond with candidate, HR, and the hiring Campus Coordinator throughout the process.
• Improve quality, mission-fit and volume of candidate pool
• Assist in development and consistent maintenance of a Great Hearts employment brand.
• Assist in the tracking, analysis, and reporting of data around recruiting, hiring, retention, and attrition trends which inform our annual strategies and goals.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Competencies, and Strengths

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. Previous work experience in K-12 education

Additional Requirements

Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid TX Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card.

Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.

Travel required: May need to travel locally to the various academies, universities, or recruiting events within the state of Texas.

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
