Coder OP, Crestwood Workers Care, FT Job at Crestwood Medical Center
To ensure patients charges are entered timely and correctly; insurance companies are invoiced correctly; insurance payments are received and posted; and time of service collections is collected. Position responsible for billing procedures for any Crestwood Physician Services clinics to include the Occupational Medicine clinic. The billing coordinator may serve as front office support and train front desk staff on the charge entry process. Prior experience working with standard office equipment and multi phone lines. Must be able to effectively communicate with the public and perform routine mathematic computations
Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): Billing or coding experience in medical office preferred
Education
Required- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- C-ARC-BLS
