We are seeking a proven and experienced Commercial Lending Manager with a specific focus on commercial lending as it relates to the Real Estate industry and ancillary businesses!
The Commercial Lending Manager will oversee employees in the Commercial Lending division, ensuring productivity and compliance with applicable policies and standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages supports and develops the Commercial Lending division and its employees.
- Interviews hire and train new employees for the division.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews commercial loan procedures on a routine basis; recommends any necessary updates or revisions.
- Oversees commercial lending process, ensuring that loan packages are properly filed with appropriate signatures, disclosures, credit authority, and supporting documentation.
- Reviews loan packages that include long-term credit provisions to ensure that adequate safeguards are included.
- Prepares and authorizes necessary lending documentation including settlement sheets, vouchers, and general ledger entries.
- Prepares weekly and monthly commercial lending reports to submit to management.
- Approves expenses associated with processing loans such as appraisals, property searches, recordings, and title insurance costs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Handle administrative needs of the accounting team.
Pay Rate: $75,000 - $85,000 Annual Salary (Based on experience) + Commission
Commission: Is a Percentage of total monthly deals closed
Available Shift: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION! )
Qualifications:
- MUST be Bilingual (ENGLISH/SPANISH).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial banking and ability to analyze financial information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Banking, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred.
