**Mon - Fri 9am-5.30pm. The focus of this role is to increase awareness for the TRUST program in North County. Experience with outreach and engagement preferred. May require weekend and/or evenings as required for presentations. **

Pay range is $73,585 to $77,458/year depending on the relevant years of experience.

We offer a competitive package of employee benefits for 30 to 40-hour week positions. You will receive a defined contribution amount of $13,050.18 per year. (prorated for part-time employees working less than 40 hours per week) to purchase the benefits of your choice on a cafeteria plan basis. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports both the agency mission and the TRUST model through promoting Momentum while developing, providing, and tracking educational outreaches and presentations to various professionals and community members.
  • Create and facilitate Community Advisory Board meetings with consumers, family members, community leaders, peers that will meet regularly to inform the development of the program and raise awareness while building community trust.*
  • Provide leadership and coordination in the development, implementation, and management of policies and practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, in all service settings, consistent with Agency mission and in accordance with Agency, payor, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the implementation of agency, county, state and regulatory policies and practices to ensure consistent quality service delivery; directly supervise service delivery quality and content.
  • Maintain networking relationships with Agency staff, community partners, supporting other agencies and potential trainees across the county for target population, to ensure consistent scheduling of trainings.*
  • Participate in TRUST project development and organizational planning to ensure coordination of quality care.
  • Collaborates with fellow mobile crisis teams and agency’s Development Department to complete outreach and engagement and maintain data on outreach efforts including number of presentations given and attendance.*
  • Manage day-to-day communications of the TRUST team and its service delivery issues.
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning, communications, and evaluation/analysis of the program’s success.
  • Responsible for program’s Marketing & Media, Community Partnerships & Outreach, and Grant Proposals.
  • Responsible for marketing content creation, presentation scheduling, tracking of attendees, and event planning (e.g., purchasing materials, logistics).
  • Responsible for ensuring that Momentum’s TRUST team is presented in a professional manner consistent with agency values.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attend and participate in staff, program, agency, and community meetings, as required, requested, or assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: (E = Essential; D = Desired)

  • Bachelor's degree (mental health or communications based preferred) and two years’ full-time experience in mental health or public relations field; OR Associate's degree (mental health or communications based preferred) and six years’ full-time experience in mental health or public relations field (D).
  • Experience in networking, developing, and promoting outreach programming with specialization in preventative mental health community education and/or mobile crisis response. (E)
  • Knowledge of community health education in relation to the promotion and coordination of prevention and wellness programing. (E)
  • Minimum one year program management experience and/or experience with supervising the development of staff through strong interpersonal and communication skills. (D)
  • Effective utilization of computer technology for communication, information tracking, and accessing of online resources; proven proficiency and organizational skills level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Windows-based databases, phone, and computer software applications. (E)

  • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and behavioral health services/supportive provider systems within the county. (E)
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate daytime, evening, and occasional weekend presentations. (E)
  • A valid California Driver License, with access to a personal and reliable vehicle/for driving a company vehicle, current proof of auto liability insurance, and a clean DMV record. (E)
  • Knowledge of and ability to identify appropriate resources within the county for outreach opportunities. (D)
  • Special Requirements: Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance, as required by Title XXII, other licensing regulations, and Momentum practices. (E)
  • Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job, with or without accommodation:
