The Barrington at Hioaks , in Richmond, Virginia offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Inspiritas - Memory Care. We are a Retirement Unlimited, Inc community, family-owned and operated in Virginia with a proud 35+ year tradition of providing exceptional care for senior adults and we are currently seeking a Part-time Concierge (Receptionist) to join our team!
The Concierge (Receptionist) greets all visitors to the community, answers the telephone, transfers call, takes accurate messages. Directs residents as necessary. Monitors nurse call system, door security system and fire panel, monitors our resident sign-in and sign-out book and the visitor registration book.
Transfers calls or takes messages as appropriate and in a courteous and friendly manner.- Fills out and logs service request forms for residents and/or staff.
- Monitors and greets visitors and potential residents and families to the community.
- Keeps front desk and lobby area clean and neat at all times.
- Accepts resident rent payments (as assigned) and turns all monies and deposit slips into the
- Business Office Manager daily.
- Attends in-services and staff meetings as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
