An American Heart Associate (AHA) Instructor course teaches the methods needed to effectively instruct others in resuscitation courses. Skills: Instructors need to demonstrate mastery in all skills for the courses they teach. This includes both the cognitive skills as well as the psychomotor skills; Course delivery: Instructors need to teach AHA materials correctly and as outlined in the appropriate Instructor Manual and Lesson Plans; Testing: Instructors must be able totest students effectively; Professionalism: Instructors need to maintain a high standard of ethics and professionalism when teaching AHA courses; and Program Administration: Instructors need to be able to manage time, space, materials, and paperwork in compliance with AHA guidelines. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age for Heartsaver Instructor Essentials and BLS Instructor Essentials Courses; ACLS, ACLS EP, PALS, and PEARS Instructors must be 18 years of age and be licensed or credentialed in a healthcare occupation where the skills are within the provider’s scope of practice;
Preferred Qualifications:
Must be willing to teach at least 2 classes a month per discipline that you are certified to teach!
Prior teaching experience a plus!
Hours are flexible!

We do offer Instructor training if you are not already a CPR instructor!
Courses may be onsite on our location or held offsite at our client's location. Must be professional, and also be willing to align with our training center.

Pay: Up to $300.00 per day
