The Ivy Street School is a small, year-round, private residential special education school committed to advancing equity and access for young people living with disabilities. We serve neurodiverse adolescents ages 13-22. We are seeking a bright and energetic individual to work as a Culinary Teaching Assistant in the kitchen under the supervision of the Culinary Teacher assisting in the teaching of basic cooking skills through class blocks and student work shifts. Culinary Teaching Assistant will meal plan, place food orders, prep and cook meals for the school lunches and dinners.

This position offers excellent experience for someone interested in pursuing a career in culinary arts within special education!

Requirements:

Kitchen/culinary arts experience preferred

Previous experience preferred

ServSafe certified preferred

Some holiday shifts required.

Current CPR and First Aid certificates, or ability to become certified upon hire
