Basic Function: Daily maintenance of the day to day communication between retail customers and Contractors for volume pricing and Special Quotes. Provide product information, pricing, and delivery schedule to customers. Enter all PO’s into ordering system to ensure an on-time and in full delivery that will meet customer expectations.

Major Responsibilities / Activities:

  • Develop extensive product knowledge base to effectively respond as a resource to customers

  • Communicate weekly with top stores on upcoming promotions, order status, new products, etc.

  • Complete all quote requests for purchase orders

  • Develop and grow relationships with Pro Desk associate and pro accounts

  • Monthly store price shops for all items carried at retail customer across top national competitors

  • Special Projects – coordinate all project related activities to ensure they occur in a timeframe for a successful project. Communicate written and verbal action items for projects including agendas, target deadlines, schedules, issues, and expectations for all special projects to necessary departments.

  • Communicate daily copper price to customers

  • Process all customer RTV’s maintaining proper paperwork and communicate internally and with customer as needed to ensure all procedures are followed

  • Cross train in all areas related to the customers including weekly reports, planograms, store sku maintenance, in-store projects, compliance, and forecasting

  • Coordinate marketing projects related to new products, packaging, labels, POP, etc. that comply with company brand standard guidelines

  • Have the ambition to succeed and work towards advancement

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of college, business related major

  • Advanced computer experience (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint / Windows / Word)

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Demonstrated organizational skills

  • Proven attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of employees (both inside and outside the company)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related major

  • 3 year’s experience in retail merchandising/retail sales in the specific areas of store service or sales.
