Our SKF Seals Customer Service team is in growth mode! We are looking for a dynamic, and reliable Customer Service Representative for our Seals Americas team. A representative exhuming confidence, passion, and empathy. The ideal candidate values collaboration and supports a culture for success within their team while advocating for our customers.
This critical customer-facing position will be responsible for ensuring our customers are consistently provided a superior service, delivering a flawless experience in every interaction, complying with customers’ requirements while adhering to SKF policies and proactively driving improvement daily.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
- Order book management.
- Customer forecasts updates.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Provide a flawless Customer Experience through first call resolution.
- Ensure timely, detailed follow up.
- Acting as a liaison between customers, sales, and factory regarding new, current and future requirements.
- Working with factories and product planners to expedite deliveries.
- Preparing quotes, delivery information, and offering technical knowledge.
- Accurately entering and tracking orders, follow up on shipments and proactively communicate to customer.
- Solving customer complaints and returned goods, while analyzing root cause and propose preventive actions.
- Working with field sales to follow up on customer requests.
- Working with engineers to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Increasing revenue by suggestive selling.
Requirements for This Role Include:
- SAP experience preferred, AS400 and Progress.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with direct customer service or sales interaction.
- Professional experience in computer skills; strong in Windows, Excel, Macros, Microsoft systems, Lotus Notes databases, C4C (Customer Collaboration Tool), and experience with mainframes.
- Automotive and/or Industrial Market Customer Service experience a plus.
- Comprehensive communication skills in the English language via email, phone, virtual meetings, in-person meetings, and any company related interactions.
- Preferred to having someone Bilingual in Spanish
