Qualifications:
1.) 5+ years previous customer service, customer success, customer support experience in manufacturing, industrial or similar industry
2.) Excellent long and short term memory retention
3.) Proficient organizational skills a must
4.) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
5.) Tactful, effective, diplomatic communication skills
6.) Ability to commit and follow through in accordance with company policies, procedures and objectives
7.) Commuting distance to Beacon Falls, CT area
Main Responsibilities:
1. General Office Duties
* Answering phones and providing general customer service
2. Order Processing
* Processing ALL orders (within your area)
* Order Entering in a timely manner
* Making sure customer purchase order and sales order match
* Processing credit cards/requesting “advance payment” when needed
* Update customer database and records as needed i.e. Phone#; fax#; contact info; email, address etc...
* Confirming ALL orders with Customers
3. Expediting
* Meet Daily with the production team to discuss open orders for manufacture - Safety and Inventory Orders
* Resolve any conflicts between Production and Customer requirements
* Send status updates to customers in a timely manner for orders
4. Shipping
* Ensure validity of carrier Information
* Create commercial Invoice/NAFTA when needed
* Schedule all shipments that require a truck
* Match Packing Slip with orders-enter tracking info-give packets to Accounting
5. Safety, Inventory, Shipping, Delivery, Stock
* Follow up on manufacturing progress (See #3)
6. Taking Spare Parts orders (within your area)
* Track partial shipments for ALL parts orders
* Training provided - must have customer service foundation in Manufacturing
