MSB (Municipal Services Bureau), a subsidiary of Navient, has been a leader in government revenue solutions since 1991 and is a provider of choice for 600+ agencies nationwide, has several openings for Customer Service Representatives. Training begins Wednesday, January 18th.
Join MSB as a Customer Service Representative at $16.00/hour plus bonus eligibility.
Training is onsite at our Muncie location. Depending on performance, position could transition to hybrid or full time on-site.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates encouraged to apply and would be eligible for an additional $1/hour after passing assessment during training.
Computer equipment will be provided! Must have high speed internet service at home, cell phone/land line and headset.
Hours:
Must have open availability 7 AM - 5 PM (CST) / 8 AM-6 PM (EST) Monday-Friday.
Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative answers inbound calls relating to customer questions surrounding toll charges and toll violations for various clients, as well as performing numerous account management activities such as accepting payments from customers, initiating disputes/inquiries/requests on behalf of the customer in resolving tolling issues and provides billing and tolling information to customers upon request. This activity could include processing general customer inquiries on account balances and fees, service and transponder products received via email, correspondence and fax.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma/ GED/ equivalent
6 months of telephone experience in a customer service, telemarketing or call center environment
TECHNICAL AND HOME OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:
- High speed internet access (Minimum 10MB upload speed, 5MB download speed)
- You must use an ethernet cord and be hard wired into your server from the router/modem. You will not be able to use Wi-Fi or a hot spot.
- Landline phone /cell phone and headset
- Private workspace or home office free of distractions and outside noise
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Experience with Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to type 25 words per minute
Excellent multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal (written and verbal) communication skills
