POSITION SUMMARY
A Logistics Support Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of advanced, complex logistical & operational functions for multiple client bases. This individual proactively recognizes cause and effect trends, identifies and clarifies customer & business needs, and works with the team and management toward solutions. Maintains effective relationships within the department and organization, as well as with external clients to ensure superior customer service and maintenance of KPI's. Is able to resolve customer issues through process expertise without having to escalate to higher levels of management, but also understands when a higher level of authorization is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A Logistics Support Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of functions to support the shipping, returns and customized client programs within the Supply Chain. This individual should work well independently and with a team, demonstrate proven skills around accuracy and efficiency as the escalations and issues worked are high-touch and time sensitive, and continuously seek process improvements to support growth strategies. The rep should also be able to maintain effective relationships across multiple departments including distribution center staff, service and sales, procurement, account management and senior leadership as well as external partners such as shipping carriers, manufacturers and customers directly.
Complete daily reconciliation of shipments confirming delivery;
Work with carriers to escalate and resolve shipping delays;
May work with freight carriers for courier and LTL (Less-than-Truck) issues
Ensure appropriate communication to Sales/Service Reps and Customers directly as needed.
Inventory Reconciliation; may process returns within RGA policy guidelines
Support other quality and logistics functions that involve direct contact with manufacturers and customers
Support of client-based programs to meet contractual obligations and maintain performance expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma required; some college preferred
3 – 5 years of experience; minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer support or call center environment (preferably in a lead-type role)
Distribution service experience is required
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Knowledge of Turning Point is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated expertise and competence within a support role; Demonstrates knowledge of broader CuraScript SD operations organization and impact on the customer
Demonstrates basic knowledge of industry policies and regulations
Demonstrates ability to navigate and use multiple computer systems simultaneously while maintaining customer contact; Possesses a sense of urgency for problem resolution and knows where to go for that that resolution
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Quality and Logistics Support department is primarily responsible for providing support of quality and operational functions, such as developing quality and training programs, document control, and managing carrier shipments. The QAL department also executes strategic initiatives to help protect and advance Express Scripts’ brand and reputation, win and retain customers, and influence the overall marketplace. Team members work cross-functionally to manage programs in support of key initiatives.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 - 21 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
