The customer service specialist supports product line objectives to continue to build itself as a recognized world class leader in the Food Equipment industry. Our Customer Service Specialists provide optimum sales service to customers utilizing their knowledge, skills and professionalism. This position requires experience and application knowledge of the products represented. The specialist enters, monitors and tracks customer purchase orders, processes debit/credit memos, maintains order information filing system, and provides knowledgeable support for assigned products. Work is focused on responding to inbound customer calls related to processing sales orders and resolving routine order/delivery issues. May train or mentor lower-level CSRs.
Major Accountability:
- The Customer Service Specialist will deal with incoming calls from customers and will handle all aspects of an assigned sales territory and/or accounts.
- Fulfils the financial controls and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position
- High degree customer satisfaction
- Team meets CS goals
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Acting as liaison between customers, production and distribution departments related to specific customers
- Enter orders in our information processing system
- Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems
- Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services
- Aware of the status of account sales orders, product lead times, delivery schedules, equipment returns and replacements
- Communicate clearly with customers through a variety of means (via telephone, email, fax, and the internet); including inquiries and complaints about products and services. Required to follow-up/or take ownership for the customer's account until a question is answered or an issue is resolved
- Assists more inexperienced Customer Service Reps
- Resolves problems and communicates solutions or requested information to the customer

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are skills related to the usage of MS Office software like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
