Purpose:
The Customer Service Support will demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels of the Supply Chain. Developing and fostering relationships is critical to success. The ideal candidate must have the ability to prioritize pressing issues and facilitate resolution in a clear and concise manner. The main objective of this position is to provide high service levels to the network we engage with and ensure orders ship on time to meet the customer’s request date for on time distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales orders, replacements and samples.
- This position requires processing holds in a timely and efficient manner.
- Order modification, per request from brokers, Marketing, and Regional Sales Managers, conducted as necessary.
- Low level notice to brokers is sent daily on the scheduled ship date.
- Strong analytic skills are needed to combine various reports and utilize Oracle inventory screens to determine item availability.
- Continual review of orders with past scheduled ship dates will be necessary to ensure timely movement.
- This role will interact with various departments within the supply chain teams.
- The Data Management / Demand Planning group may assist in reviewing inventory, work orders vs planned orders, and the On Hand report.
- Correspondent will rely on this group when processing new customer set ups and updating billing and shipping locations of customers.
Education / Experience:
- 4yr Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years’ experience or equivalent work experience
- Develop a detailed understanding of Oracle R12 based applications: EBS, ASCP, OTM
- Experience in Excel & Microsoft Suite
