Cut-Off Operator 2nd or 3rd shift Job at RBC Precision Products - Bremen
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SET-UP AND OPERATION OF ALL CUT-OFF MACHINES IN ACCORDANCE WITH ACCEPTED STANDARDS.
- VERIFICATION OF WIRE TYPE BY CHECKING WIRE TAG AND COLOR CODE BEFORE RUNNING PRODUCTION IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE.
- CONSTANTLY MONITOR, MEASURE AND VISUALLY EXAMINE THE OUTPUT OF ALL MACHINES TO ASSURE THAT THE PARTS ARE WITHIN THE SPECIFIED TOLERANCES.
- REPORT ANY NONCONFORMING PARTS FOUND TO THE SUPERVISOR SO THAT A DISPOSITION CAN BE DETERMINED.
- COMPLETE DAILY PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE DUTIES AS DEFINED BY SUPERVISOR.
- REPORT ALL MACHINE PROBLEMS TO THE SUPERVISOR IN A TIMELY MANNER.
- KEEP ACCURATE AND COMPLETE RECORDS OF PRODUCTION, WORK-IN-PROCESS, SCRAP, AND MATERIAL USAGE.
- COOPERATE WITH THE QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN AND MAKE CORRECTIONS AS WARRANTED TO ASSURE QUALITY PARTS.
- RE-WEIGH WIRE WHEN RETURNING IT TO STOCK, AND ASSURE THAT IT IS RETURNED TO THE PROPER LOCATION.
- CUT UP LARGE PIECES OR COILS OF SCRAP WIRE BEFORE PUTTING IN THE DUMPSTER.
- ASSURE THE MACHINES AND WORK AREA ARE CLEAN FOR THE NEXT SHIFT.
