Role – Data Architect
Location – Charlotte, NC initial 2-3 months remote and later need to relocate as per client needs
Responsibilities
- A Data Architect at Avid has these responsibilities:
- Identify data sources, both internal and external, and work out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy.
- Integrate technical functionality to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
- Maintain current and target data architectures at the enterprise and domain levels, and the recommended roadmaps to reach the targets.
- Model current and proposed data environments to assess performance, reliability, and data integrity.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system.
- Help identify and troubleshoot data quality issues with project and analytics teams.
Qualifications:
- These key qualifications are important for success:
- Over ten years of full-time engineering or architectural experience, with at least five years having data architecture responsibilities. We are looking for people who explicitly responsible for architect solutions, who come from a technical background, and who either held an explicit architecture role or were in a technical leadership role where architecture was a core function.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Charlotte, NC 28270: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- full-time engineering or architectural: 10 years (Required)
- data architecture: 5 years (Required)
- data and process modeling of both relational and NoSQL: 5 years (Required)
- Azure and AWS.: 6 years (Required)
- Big Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Database design: 6 years (Required)
