3. If appropriately trained, provide comprehensive and specialized assessments of the skill levels and service needs of incarcerated older youth, which may include:
i. Diagnostic testing and use of other assessment tools; and
ii. In-depth interviewing and evaluation to identify employment barriers and appropriate employment goals.
4. Use recent previous assessments by partner programs to determine appropriate level of career services.
5. Assist the WIOA career planner, when necessary, in development of an individual service strategy (ISS), to identify the employment goals, appropriate achievement objectives, and appropriate combination of services for the participant to achieve his or her employment goals, including the list of, and information about, eligible training providers.
9. Assist residents and those recently released individuals who are not staying in the Treasure Valley. Work closely with WIOA consultants in the area where the individual is transitioning to once released, ensuring a smoother transition for the individual and connect them to resources in their area.
12. Be a strong advocate for the targeted 18-24 population.
13. Involve community stakeholders that are interested in seeing at risk youth become successful Some pre-approved travel required: A reliable vehicle is necessary and travel costs will be reimbursed.

Strong sense of customer service and professionalism in a stressful environment, experience with phone and email etiquette, ability and willingness to work as a team member, good organizational skills, must be able to complete assigned tasks individually, should be consistent thorough and accurate in performance of job duties, understand and follow best practices to protect sensitive and confidential information, consistent and reliable attendance throughout regularly scheduled workweek, experience interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws or complex policies and experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system
