Data Entry Clerk - RHRP Job at DOCS Health

In preparation for our new services under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), we have immediate openings for full time Medical Data Entry Clerks for our Pipersville, PA office.
- Scan through documentation to identify pertinent information.
- Enter and update information into appropriate databases.
- Inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
- Store hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
- Create accurate spreadsheets.
- Ensure data is backed up.
- Safeguard all patient information by keeping all written and verbal communications confidential. Ensures all actions are in compliance with HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulations.
- Use phone calls and e-mail as the main communication vehicles with co-workers.
- Perform miscellaneous special projects as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years’ experience with data entry in a medical/dental setting
- Customer Service experience - preferred
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Able to decipher various forms of handwriting
- Detail-oriented, with focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with MS Office Word and Excel
- Experience with MEDPROS, DENCLASS, ASIMS, MRRS – a plus, we will train
- Able to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
- Able to work in high-speed environments
- Reliable, Professional, and Courteous demeanor
