Description:
Moran Logistics in Watsontown, PA is looking for a full-time IT and software systems specialist. This position will initially focus on implementing a new warehouse management system for a fast-growing 3rd Party Logistics company based in Watsontown, PA. Ongoing responsibilities will include training new employees on everyday applications of our new WMS, onboarding new and existing customers to the WMS and working closely with our WMS provider to troubleshoot any operational issues with the WMS.
This position requires attention to detail, a basic understanding of warehousing operations, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work independently.
Experience in other WMS or inventory-related software programs is desired but not required for this position.
Experience creating training SOPs is essential as all processes related to the WMS will be documented and used as the basis for all training, both internal and external for our customers and staff. The ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others, lead training sessions, answer questions, and provide ongoing support are all key responsibilities for this position.
Additional responsibilities will include working with Senior management on miscellaneous operations-related projects.
