The candidate should have experience in delivery and be prepared to start right away. Key Requirements/ Responsibilities :
- Must be 21 years or older
- High School Diploma
- 2-3 Years experience in delivery
- Attention to Detail: Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes. You must be careful about all the details that go into completing a customer’s order on the computer and executing the delivery. Orders can often have more than one item and they can not be missed.
- Time Management- Follow routes and time schedules. Floral Deliveries come with a sense of urgency because the arrangements need to be on time for the special event.
- Physically Able: Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle. Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. on an ongoing basis. Ability to stand and walk on an ongoing basis throughout the shift. Comfortable bending, stooping, and lifting products above your shoulders. When you are not out on delivery you will be organizing/ cleaning the shop and cooler and processing shipments
- Excellent Communication Skills: You interact with customers every day and are "the face of the company". You need to communicate exactly what you need and ask questions to ensure you understand directions
- Computer Skills: Need to be adaptable to new computer programs and POS systems.
- Able to maintain a flexible schedule
