• No previous on-the-job driving experience is required - WE WILL TRAIN AND PAY YOU!
• Driving experience (like pizza delivery, paper delivery, Uber, Amazon, UPS, USPS, etc) can be helpful
• Compensation for Full-Time averages $725 to $1100+ per 5 day work week (once trained and performing independent delivery routes). More possible during Thanksgiving/Christmas seasons!
• Available Full-Time routes = TUES-SAT, WED-SUN, THURS-MON, MON-FRI (Limited availability)
• Compensation for Part-Time Saturday/Sunday is $180 per day

Job Specifics:

• Works out of the FedEx Ground Mahtomedi MN facility (Highway 694/Highway 120)
• Supports FedEx by delivering packages in the cities of Woodbury and Oakdale
• Daily start time normally around 7:30-8am
• Route times up to 8 hours depending on number of assigned delivery stops and your performance
• Route will be mapped out for you but allows driver ability to adjust the route order
• Vehicle you will be driving is a large step van (18' - 22' in Length) with automatic transmission
• Compensation is paid weekly for work performed the previous payroll period (Sat-Fri) and direct deposit is available
• Benefits after 90 days for Full-Time only

Job Abilities/Requirements/Expectations:

• Read words and numbers (addresses, package ID#’s, etc)
• Comfortable using electronic devices (tablet for routing & scanner – like a mobile phone)
• Deliver alcohol and various food packages
• Lift/carry up to 60 pounds and up to 150 pounds with hand-truck
• Step down/up from vehicle steps and occasionally from back of vehicle (offloading larger packages)
• Walk briskly or jog packages to each delivery location
• Work independently and pace yourself through your workday
• Promptness and ability to show up daily is a MUST!

Job Application Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Email will be sent to perform an online application/screenings conducted by a company FedEx utilizes
• No felony on record & misdemeanors are also reviewed determining eligibility for hiring candidate
• No DUI in last 5 years (2 DUI convictions disqualified for life)
• Must pass a drug screening appointment
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (NOTE: If you don’t have one, no problem - you are eligible to receive one at your initial drug screening appointment)
