Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) Job at DeLallo
DeLallo is seeking applicants for Delivery Driver (non-CDL) in the metro-Detroit area. The primary responsibility is to deliver products to customers through while providing above average customer service including unloading of product at our customer's place of business.
Responsibilities:
- Timely transportation of product from origin to destination
- Loading and unloading product in a safe manner
- Maintain professional attitude and demeanor with customers and when operating equipment on the road
- Communicate regularly with the dispatcher to ensure timely product delivery
- Inspect condition and quantity of materials before placing them at customer locations.
- Maintain all deliver paperwork for customers and the company according to company requirements
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Class C drivers license
- Must have a clean driving record without restrictions
- Experience working directly with customers is preferred
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and to move products with a hand cart
- Ability to step up into a van or truck to access product
