We are seeking part time to full time licensed Dental Hygienists for our busy two doctor general practice. Our ideal candidates have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability communicate calmly and reassuringly while providing quality dental care to patients of all ages.

We are an office that focuses on routine preventive care. One of our most important jobs is to educate our patients on their individual oral conditions to promote better oral and systemic health.

Duties include:

• Set up, breakdown, and sterilization of instruments and operatories
• Take blood pressure and review medical history
• Oral health evaluations (cancer screening, hard and soft tissue, perio charting, dental caries, homecare routines)
• Perform complete dental prophys, scaling and root planing, application of topical fluoride
• Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
• Acquire digital radiographs
• Collaboration with the Dr. during hygiene appointments to facilitate a thorough exam for the patient
• Treatment planning

Salary:

$38 - $45 an hour based on skills and experience

CPR certification

COVID-19 Precautions:

We have installed custom glass doors on all of our treatment rooms. We have also modified our air conditioning system to include a new system that uses ionization and upgraded filtration for the removal of particles, viruses, bacteria, and fungi. All operatories have individual air purifiers as well.
