The Deputy Director shall assist the Division Director in the oversight of the Retail & Print Fulfillment operations, projects, meetings, and National Headquarters functions.

Essential Functions:

1. Management: Oversight of day-to-day processes, projects, and functions in all respective areas.

2. Budget: Prepares yearly budget and budget projections for Emblem Sales & Print Production. Continuedly monitors budget monthly.

3. Inventory: Reconcile to accounting records, monitor adjustments, and review write offs. Work with Operations Manager to oversee the year-end inventory process.

4. Ad Hoc Reporting: Prepares special budgets and cost projections related to Emblem Sales & Print Production activity.

5. Standard Reporting: Prepares and assists in preparation of financial information. Review reports for accuracy and reasonableness.

6. Performance Measurement: Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Emblem Sales and Print Production.

7. Costing: Calculate and maintain costing structure in inventory management software for Emblem Sales and Print Production.

8. Internal Controls: Overseas design and functionality of internal controls for Emblem Sales and Print Production.

9. Internal Audits: Conducts audits of internal control operations.

10. External Audits: Assists external auditors upon request. Prepares audit work papers.

11. Training: Provides training to the staff, as needed. Assist in planning, establishing and achieving divisional and organizational goals.

12. Marketing: Provides input on Magazine Cover-Wrap, Patriotic Catalog, New Inventory, and Catalog.

13. Record Retention: Oversees maintenance of record retention.

14. National Convention Emblem Sales Store: Oversee all operations at National Convention. Work with Marketing Manager, Store Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the store is set up properly.

15. National Emblem Committee Meetings: Serve as assistant staff liaison and primary administrative support.

16. National Headquarters Finance Staff Liaison: Reports financial information to the Finance Division.

17. Special Projects: Works with Division Director and associated Divisions to complete special projects. Projects such as hardware evaluations, software conversions, cost analyses, database integrations, and more.

18. Other Duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,045.00 - $88,273.00 per year
