Searching for Desktop Support Technician to fill a 3 month contract for a client located in Washington, D.C. Primary responsibilities for the role include Perform specific hardware and software maintenance, such as upgrades, virus scans, moving systems, and documenting changes in partnership with suppliers, if appropriate, using existing documentation; Install, configure, and update end-user desktop and laptop software; Fulfill technical requests from end users or route when appropriate; and Repair or replace defective equipment with support as needed. Technical skills required for a successful engagement include experience with Office365, Windows, SCCM or similar, and troubleshooting network protocols.
