What we are looking for

SCS Engineers is looking for a Developer for our Remote Monitoring Control (RMC) division. You will improve software products, working individually or as part of a team, to ensure user experience excellence. You will take part in the full software development lifecycle and be responsible for user/business system requirements, responding to outages, creating application system models, analyzing and testing existing software for improved performance and maintenance. You will work remotely.

• Develop and implement new software programs on-budget.
• Develop technology solutions fulfills all requirements.
• Communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
• Design, update, and interface with several database models and engines.
• Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure functionality and optimization.
• Independently integrate commercial software packages.
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review all code and perform unit testing.
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and influence availability and performance.
• Resolve complex technical design issues.
• Develop technical specifications and plans.
• Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to challenges.
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding issues.
• Compile comprehensive and accurate documentation and reports.
• Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance
• Have knowledge of technological developments in the industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study preferred. Relevant experience can be substituted for degree requirement.
• Registered integrator of Inductive Automation Ignition software preferred, but experience required.
• At least 5 years in web tier and middle tier development with object-oriented programming experience with ASP.Net / C#, including experience implementing application architecture.
• 5years with HTML 5, Python, MQTT, Spark Plug B, Modbus, Monicom, Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, API, ASP.NET Core technologies, JavaScript (Angular/React) and Edge computing required.
• At least 3 years working with MS SQL Server (advanced SQL knowledge is preferred)
• Experience with Amazon AWS Cloud programming.
• Mobile application development experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing required.

Pay range for this position is $120k to $230k depending on experience and location. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
