What we are looking for
Toyota’s Demand & Supply Management (DSM) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated, Senior Analyst (Digital Transformation).
The main responsibilities of this role are to support, design, and co-create multiple projects within the Supply & Fulfillment transformation program to modernize our supply & fulfilment operations, as well as working to proactively identify areas of opportunity to better support our customers and stakeholders.
Reporting to the DSM Digital Transformation Product Manager, the person in this highly visible role will work across multiple departments to support the department’s objective to transform supply and fulfillment operations and optimize TMNA Sales & Production Planning.
What you will be doing
- Support the development and delivery of multiple digital transformation projects to transform the current Supply & Fulfillment operations.
- Utilize business acumen and data analytics to ensure the projects deliver value for customers and stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with other TMNA departments to ensure products align with enterprise strategy.
- Support operational team members to identify the series level (i.e. Camry, Corolla, ES, RX, etc), model, option, and color opportunities based on market and supply conditions.
- Leverage new technologies to improve analytical capabilities to support operations.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent relevant experience (Analytics, Strategy and Project Management 2 years).
- Experience performing various analysis, data transformation, and development tasks in Python, leveraging libraries including NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Experience developing queries in SQL to extract, combine, and transform data.
- Experience managing codebase in Git.
- Experience with a visualization platform such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlikview (Tableau preferred).
- Experience working on large projects and utilizing scrum methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Track record leveraging tech to automate and enhance business processes.
- Excellent analytic, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skill.
- Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline and detail driven environment.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
What you may bring
- Experience using Alteryx.
- AWS Experience, including Redshift, Sagemaker.
- Supply Chain Management Experience.
- Understanding of the automotive industry and business issues affecting Toyota.
