Role overview

The mission of the Customer team is to build, manage, and grow customer relationships, and create a culture of customer centricity across Shiftsmart. We own the customer, which in our business typically means relationships with COOs and VPs of Operations @ Fortune 1000 companies. We deeply understand our customers' businesses and operational / labor challenges, and use that understanding to design and launch solutions using our platform to improve their operations and achieve desired business outcomes. In this role, you will own relationships with customers across verticals with various operating models, and design and launch solutions to expand shifts available on our platform and grow revenue.

What you'll do:

  • Own and expand executive-level customer relationships across the entire lifecycle and multiple verticals, including flexible contact center, audits & inspections, and fractional onsite work
  • Design and execute a commercial roadmap for each customer to deliver and grow net revenue retention (NRR), working directly with leadership internally and the Customer to scope and deliver expansion opportunities
  • Work consultatively with customers to deeply understand their business objectives and key operating / labor challenges, and use that to design tailored labor solutions to deliver their goals through the Shiftsmart platform
  • Coordinate with customers and teams internally to scope, intake, and launch new deals across a variety of business and operating models, leveraging our network of 1.7M+ workers around the world

Who you are

You get excited about owning senior customer relationships, deeply understanding customer needs, solving ambiguous problems, and challenging existing thinking to influence business decisions.

  • Customer-minded: You have 7+ years experience in a highly consultative role interacting with senior executives (e.g. management consulting), and ideally experience as an operator / executor
  • Problem solver: You thrive working through and solving complex problems, quickly learn and adapt to new situations, and can synthesize the abstract into the concrete
  • Highly organized: You think in systems and process, relish bringing structure to ambiguity, ruthlessly prioritize, and feel organization is second nature to you
  • Adaptable: You are highly flexible and appreciate the variety that comes with understanding and building solutions for a wide variety of customer operations models
  • Solution builder: You enjoy collaborating with customers to deeply understand their operations and work with delivery teams to build solutions that drive business outcomes
