Director of Data Reporting Job at Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chgo
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Refugee Resettlement Services (RRS) Salesforce database, generating performance reports on a quarterly and annual basis, and producing required federal and state reports.
JUF has a long history of providing support and assistance to refugees. For over 40 years we have administered the Refugee Resettlement Program for the state of Illinois, by partnering with organizations to provide social services to individuals and families fleeing persecution and violence in their home countries. This includes providing job training, English language classes, behavioral health support, youth mentoring, senior services, and educational support to help refugees successfully integrate into their new communities. This position is grant-funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS).
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure database programming is updated on an as needed basis and capture programmatic requirements. If necessary, work with software consultants to make program modifications to the database.
- Aggregate programmatic data to help inform program design and develop new reports and dashboards within Salesforce as needed or requested by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) and agency partners.
- Act as primary staff for required reports, including Quarterly Performance Reports, ORR-5, ORR-6 and any additional report requests. Hold primary responsibility for data integrity.
- In conjunction with program staff, provide database training and technical assistance to agencies around database issues.
- Assist sub-contracting agencies as requested with the creation of agency specific dashboards.
- Maintain up-to-date operating procedures for areas of responsibility.
- Support JUF Campaign and mandatory campaign-related activities on an ongoing basis.
What you need to succeed:
- Significant experience in creating and working with Salesforce databases.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Experience working with non-native born populations is desirable.
- Experience with providing training and technical assistance is desirable.
