Director of HRIS & HR Operations Job at Stifel Financial Corp.
Summary
The HRIS & HR Operations Director will establish the HRIS strategy and collaborate with key stakeholders on alignment and execution. This position will be accountable for determining current system gaps, building clear system roadmaps, and delivering system efficiencies, robust analytics, and meaningful reporting. This position will also build a high-performing team, establish vendor partnerships, and optimize HRIS technology solutions to support key HR processes and compensation initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of our HRIS systems to enhance our process efficiencies, HR reporting, and analytics capabilities.
- Oversee HRIS systems and workflows to ensure data accuracy, effective and compliant record-keeping, accurate and timely pay and benefits, operational efficiency, and HR compliance with regulations and policies.
- Prioritize items for implementation considering both potential impact on the Firm and the current business environment.
- Define HR technology strategy and roadmap aligning with business needs partnering with key HR leaders and stakeholders.
- Develop short and long range operating objectives, organizational structure, staffing requirements, and succession plans.
- Monitor effectiveness and compliance of all pay programs.
- Build strong relationships with our vendors, consultants, business partners, and internal leadership to ensure best practices and to provide mutual support and partnership.
- Work closely and partner with Accounting and IT regarding systems and projects.
- Lead through process excellence and demonstrate effective project management skills in navigating likely risks and implement mitigation plans.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience with database applications and HRIS systems.
- Experience developing processes and procedures to optimize technology solutions for human resources.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects from concept to finish.
- Strong team leadership skills to acquire, coach, develop, and retain talent.
- Relentless focus on customer satisfaction with excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and presentation skills.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Required: 10+ years’ or more of recent experience in HR systems implementation and management; 5 years’ of team-building and staff leadership experience.
Licensing & Credentials
- Minimum Preferred: PMP certification
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with financial modeling, costing models, salary structure design and implementation, incentive plan design and implementation, market benchmarking, and job evaluation
