Timber Pines seeks a hands-on Director of Maintenance/Environmental Services to ensure a safe physical environment for residents, visitors and team members.
Responsibilities:

• Complete and maintain all Life Safety drills, logs and systems.
• Maintain access control and other security systems.
• Perform HVAC, boiler, chiller, electronic, electric repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to requested building maintenance repairs in a timely manner.
• Complete apartment turns as assigned.
• Order parts and maintain inventory.
• Supervise Housekeepers.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities.
Minimum qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with post-secondary technical training
• Current Minnesota Special Engineer Boiler's License
• Minnesota unrestricted driver’s license and good driving record
• Five years experience in physical plant maintenance
• Working knowledge of regulatory codes
• Computer literate in multiple Microsoft applications
• Ability to interpret building schematics and blueprints
• Working knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial/housekeeping equipment, drywall, basic carpentry, painting and related equipment and products
• Prioritize, organize, problem solve and meet deadlines and goals
• Interest in regularly interacting with older adults
• Ability to model Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles

Preferred qualifications:

• Current Minnesota 2-C Engineer Boiler’s License or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Experience in physical plant maintenance in a senior housing community
• Refrigeration Certification
