We are looking to recruit an organized, motivated, and passionate individual to join our top performing Sales Management Team. This new team member will work with our strategic growth customers, such as Walmart, Wayfair, Amazon, Target, Overstock, Home Depot etc. on their day-to-day business needs and with the other departments within the company to create new plans and systems to help grow sales.

Top candidates will have a broad skill set including strong sales management and negotiations skills, leadership development, analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, deep curiosity about how things work.

You must be willing to challenge the status quo in order to improve existing workflows and processes. You must have the presence and communication skills to represent Walker Edison across assigned retail partners.

Potential for fully remote work available.

This is how you can contribute to our success:

  • Relationships: Build strong relationships with the merchants with assigned strategic growth customers and collaborate on ways to exceed sales goals and objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Use data to identify successes and areas of opportunity, understand and utilize partner specific reporting, be able to share data with partners and the executive team in a way that strengthens partnerships and drives overall business
  • Detail Oriented: Manage several key moving parts within the business with a high level of detail and organization
  • Collaboration: Build and develop collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of all aspects of your partner's business
  • Improving the Customer Experience: maintain integrity of existing product listings, build out product collections, develop merchandising strategies within your partner's unique parameters
  • Team Development: Develop team members, empowering them to grow their respective accounts and responsibilities
  • Reporting: Present your team strategy, current progress, and metrics during monthly meetings to Executive Leadership, cross-functional teams, and Sales Team
  • Regular travel customer offices and trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required ideally in business, communications, or a similar discipline.
  • 10+ years of work experience in retail account management preferred.
  • Experience managing a team preferred.
  • Capable of working with multiple partners, systems, and personalities.
  • Professional negotiation experience.
  • Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience delivering against goals and targets.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail in a high-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
