Job Title: Dishwasher
Department: Kitchen - AJW Commissary
Reports To: Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef
General Purpose of the Job
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the commissary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash dishes and equipment quickly and thoroughly.
- Keep up with dirty equipment and dishware from daily production as well everything that comes back from parties
- Place all the equipment back where it belongs
- Take care of all the equipment and dishware to minimize breakage
- Throw out the garbage and breakdown cardboard boxes
- Clear the lunch line
- Sweep, mop and scrub floors daily
- Quarterly cleaning of hoods
- Maintain cleanliness of larger equipment such as ovens and fryers
- Other duties as required
