Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Distribution Associate II. In coordination with Operations and Supply Chain, the Distribution Associate II will accurately inspect, receive, manage, and ship inventory for commercial and clinical operations. The Distribution Associate II will work toward becoming the SME for Storage and Distribution. Provide support to the Material Management groups and Quality Assurance.

The Role
- Unload delivery trucks and verify the correct goods and quantities have been received against packing list Receive product into inventory
- Transfer material throughout the on-site facility, between business units, and off-site third party storage vendors using Catalent provided vehicles.
- Process domestic and international shipments and upload to client folders for internal client access.
- Assist in Dangerous Goods shipments, assist in receipt and inventory investigations and process receipts in JDE software.
- Ensures that areas of control are processing under GMP conditions and applicable SOP’s are being strictly followed
- Works collectively Quality Assurance, Operations, Supply Chain and other necessary areas to ensure timelines are met and results achieved
- Supports customer requests as needed
- Investigation of receipt issues.
- All duties as assigned
The Candidate
- High School diploma with at least 2 years of distribution and shipping experience (or applicable experience in a distribution environment).
- Must be detail-oriented, well organized and high attention to detail.
- Dangerous Good and IATA training/certification preferred and controlled drug experience preferred.
- Communicates clearly with internal and external clients, both verbal and written.
- Drum weight < 10kg. (Empty) to 150kg (max. full weight) multiple times per shift, lifting boxes and/or containers up to 50 lbs. (27.2 kg) from waist to chest height.
- Loading product of various amounts of completion to counters and quality control devices.
- Overhead lift and reach (≤15 lbs.).
- Manipulation of drums to and from 6-inch pallets (up to 80 lbs. of force).
