Essential Responsibilities

• Be the catalyst in communication, pro-actively and positively engaging carriers, customers, and warehouses in daily operational shipping related activity.
• Enter delivery orders into the company database and dispatch to designated carriers.
• Ensure shipments are created, distributed, and shipped to multiple location points with precise details while working in a shared document environment.
• Track containers on SSL website and terminal website to update customer and carriers on status.
• Troubleshoot Freight, Customs, TMF, Per Diem, Demurrage, etc.
• Keep in close contact with Warehouse delivery and pickup centers concerning logistics updates for all Drayage shipments.
• Track and report status to the Customer and team, noting all date/times and accessorials in the company database and gather/upload documentation.
• Respond to Carrier concerns and queries professionally, handling issues in a timely manner and escalating to management immediately when issues arise.
• Post expenses and communicate loads ready for invoicing to finance team.
• Generate new ideas and identify process improvements.
• Provide additional assistance with projects and other items to be assigned periodically.
• Qualifications
• 2+ years of Operations and Drayage experience with Steam Line Ships and Terminals.

Hardware required

• Convenient access to cell phone, WiFi, and a computer 24/7 (A technology stipend will be provided monthly).
• Forsla will provide Microsoft suite software as well as other online software access required to perform the job (Forsla propriety software, Trello, etc.).

Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
