Drupal Back-end Developer Job at Digital Pulp
The role
Digital Pulp is seeking a passionate and talented Drupal & WordPress Back-End Developer with the skills and experience to build enterprise platforms. You will work closely with a senior technical architect to follow our best practices in working with these platforms.
Ideal candidates can perform Drupal / WordPress sitebuilding tasks, and essential PHP custom module / plugin writing tasks in this capacity on medium to large scale CMS projects for a variety of clients. You may also be asked to solve complex architectural issues with these CMS platforms as they arise, and work within the Drupal or WordPress guidelines to come up with better solutions when necessary.
Collaboration on teams is important to this role, with Agile scrums daily, branching strategy based on Jira tickets, pull request review by all team members for all work submitted.
Experience with more complex tasks such as content migration and API integrations is also a plus for this role.
We seek an independent contractor to work on as-needed basis across a variety of projects.
You
- 2+ years of Drupal and/or WordPress Back-End Development
- 3-5 years of PHP Development experience
- Strong knowledge of Git workflow, pull requests, etc.
- Configuration import / export on Drupal platform
- Configuration management in WordPress
- ACF plugin for WordPress a plus
- Custom WordPress Gutenberg a plus
- Local development environments such as DDEV, Lando, etc.
- Proficient using Linux command line
- Experience with deployments on Pantheon, Acquia and WP Engine cloud platforms
- Apache, MySQL experience preferred
- Experience with Twig templating language a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must
- Participate in project discussions and team meetings
- Collaborate with our designers, developers and project managers on client work
- Migration experience a plus
- API integration experience a plus

Pay: $48.00 - $65.00 per hour
